A tale of two cities - Charles dickens

A few images from my most recent project a tale of two cities - Charles dickens , the brief was to design a costume and a prop all in white and project colour onto them afterwards. To be 100% truthful not a lot of enthusiasm went into this project just so glad it's over and I got something handed in ! I'm really lookig forward to the summer off to focus on my dissertation and research for my final major project year, very exciting :)

Having said in my previous post due to confusion with blogs I don't seem to have much of my work on this blog . Here are some photos from my previous year in entertainment design focusing mainly on props and costume with a miss havisham , great expectations theme. 

Alice in wonderland

Due to the confusion of having three different blogs and not remembering certain passwords / log in details it's taken me some time to figure this one out :) here are some photos of my recent project in my studio modules props and costume , the theme was alice in wonderland and I decided to use nature as my main influence . 

Professional studies

In our professional studies lessons we have been concentrating on careers in the entertainment industry , there are a lot of different jobs out there and we have been researching all of those for our report. My chosen career pathway so far is teaching I am going to look at the education gov website for some tips on where to start. Another thing we did in our professional studies lessons was a dragons den type of assignment , we were in groups of 4 and had to come up with an idea for a business and a product or business idea to present to a team of "dragons" . Our group came up with a hand made craft sort of company ; designing making and selling a range of products from lazy boy pants to drawstring bags , here are some of the images from this project including our company logo and brand , which the dragons were impressed with. The name of the company was inspired by my little jack russell dog monty :) !
